Below is a list of JCVI training courses that we feel benefit the Pathema Community.

  • April 20 - 23, 2009: Introduction to Microarray Technology Course
  • The Introduction to Microarray Technology Course, from the Pathogen Functional Resource Center (PFGRC) describes introductory microarray technology and data analysis. This course will be held at JCVI.

  • May 13 - 15, 2009: Bacillus/Clostridium Annotation Jamboree
  • The objective of this jamboree is to incorporate expert annotation data into the existing Pathema-Bacillus and Pathema-Clostridium genome submissions, update existing annotation, tag annotation with updated experimental references, and provide the community with the opportunity to become familiar with the annotation procedures in place at JCVI.

  • June 16 - 17, 2009: Introduction to Microarray Data Analysis Course
  • The Introduction to Microarray Data Analysis Course, from the Pathogen Functional Resource Center (PFGRC) will provide an overview of the software and techniques used in the analysis of two-dye spotted microarrays. Fundamental data analysis concepts will be taught using a mix of lectures and interactive hands-on sessions. This course will be held at JCVI.
